Mayte Martín will teach a master course in cante at Seville’s Cristina Heeren Flamenco Art Foundation. The cantaora will take timeout from her concert agenda to teach her knowledge of flamenco cante to a select group of students. The master course will take place at the foundation’s headquarters in Seville for four weeks: from January 9th to 20th and from February 6th to 17th, 2012. The pupils will be able to choose between two levels: advanced and intermediate. Each course will have a duration of 30 class hours. Places are limited to 10 students, besides students of the annual course. Registration, with a fee of 450 euros, is now open at www.flamencoheeren.com.
