José Mercé
sings with Mariza on the fado album ‘Transparente’.
Together with the Portuguese singer, the Jerez-born cantaor
performs ‘Há uma música do Povo’,
a song with lyrics by poet Fernando Pessoa, adapted to Spanish
for the re-release of the album which will come out in Spain
on November 7th, 2005. Thus, José
Mercé once again lays his stakes on the encounter
between flamenco and other genres, as is reflected in his albums
‘Confí de fuá’, ‘Lío’
and ‘Aire’.
