José Mercé advances his new album ‘Ruido’ in Madrid. Following the sneak preview he offered in Jerez one month ago, the Jerez-born cantaor presents his upcoming album on Monday, October 26th, 2009 at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid. Besides his repertoire of traditional cante, he is scheduled to reveal part of the contents of the album, produced by Isidro Muñoz, expected to be released early next year. He will be accompanied on stage by his inseparable guitarist Moraíto, who will also be joined by tocaores Diego del Morao and Daniel Méndez, Cesáreo Moreno on box drum and the choruses of Antonio and Rafael de los Reyes as well as Marcelino Fernández. ‘Ruido’ will be the sixth album of the successful period which the artist began in 1998 with ‘Del amanecer…’, an album produced by Vicente Amigo which sold over one hundred fifty thousand copies.
