2006 Mistela Flamenco
Festival kicks off with a tribute to Málaga. The
folkloric color of a verdiales gang from Málaga tinged
the opening of the veteran flamenco event being held until October
28th in the Sevillian town of Los Palacios. Besides the tribute
to Málaga, the inauguration bore in mind local flamenco,
represented on stage by cantaora María José Carrasco.
The program continues on Wednesday, October 25th with cantaores
Esperanza
Fernández and Tomás de Perrate
