The SIMOF 2006 flamenco fashion show opens its doors in Seville from 2nd to 5th February 2006. The twelfth edition of SIMOF runs for four days, and offers almost thirty fashion shows revealing the latest trends in flamenco fashion at Seville's Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos (Fibes). Lina, Aurora Gaviño, Pilar Vera, Ángeles Verano... these are just some of the designers who'll put their collections on the catwalk. The models will include Laura Sánchez and María José Suárez, and clothes will also be modeled by flamenco artists, as they were by Marina Heredia, María José Franco and Tatiana Garrido at previous editions. The program also includes a contest for young designers.
