Ojos de Brujo receives the award for Best European Group at the 2004 BBC Radio 3 World Music Awards. The hip hop flamenco group thus gains the greatest recognition opted for by any world music artist and the most reputable boost for their international consolidation. Ojos de Brujo, which has sold over one hundred thousand copies of 'Barí' so far, competed in this category with Spain's Radio Tarifa, Poland's Kroke and Croatia's Tamara Obrovac. The awards ceremony will take place this year at Usher Hall in Edinburgh on March 9th, 2004.
