Antonio
el Pipa directs the 2009 Flamenco Seminar in Havana.
From September 21st to 27th, the Cuban capital hosts the seventh

Dance Institute. The training program includes workshops on baile,
cante, toque and compás which, with fifteen hours of class

members of his company, which has been on tour over the past few
seasons with shows such as ‘De tablao’. The seminar
concludes with a final students gala scheduled for September 27th
at Havana’s Gran Teatro. Artists like Mario Maya, Cristina
Hoyos, Israel Galván, Rocío Molina, Gerardo Núñez,
Alfredo Lagos, Segundo Falcón and Diego Carrasco have already
taken part as maestros in previous editions of this encounter between
the cultures of Cuba and Andalusia.
