el Pipa premieres ‘Puertas adentro’ at Málaga
en Flamenco 2007. The
début of the seventh show by the Jerez-born bailaor’s
company will take place on August 26th at the Teatro Las Lagunas
in Mijas. Contrary to ‘De tablao’, the new show
takes a look inside the artist, accentuating “the three
most important moments for any of us: life, love and death”.
Highlighting the musical section is the lullaby composed by
David de María which is performed by guest artist Montse
Cortés; and the composing by José Luis Montón,
who will form a guitar duo with Pascual de Lorca. Also to collaborate
live are Juana la del Pipa, Enrique el Extremeño, Morenito
de Íllora and Diego Camacho ‘Boquerón’.
On baile, El Pipa has the special collaboration of María
del Mar Moreno, besides a dance corps consisting
of five bailaoras. He also has Gaspar Campuzano, founder of
the La Zaranda theater company, as stage consultant, and lighting
by Marcos Serna.
