Pitingo puts the finishing touches to his debut album ‘Pitingo
con Habichuela’ in Jerez. Making the most of
his trip to give a recital at the 10th Festival de Jerez, the
vocalist from Huelva has locked himself away in La Bodega recording
studio alongside Jerez-born artists like Fernando Soto, to take
authentic coros and palmas back with him from the land of compás.
Really, though, it's just a minor detail on album he's put together
alongside the whole of the Habichuela family. The album features
guitarists Juan Habichuela, Pepe Habichuela, El Camborio and
Josemi Carmona, as well as Antonio Carmona on percussion. The
CD, produced by José Manuel Gamboa is due for release
this coming April
