2011 Querétaro Dance Festival announces the 3rd International Meeting of Groups and Schools of Spanish and flamenco dancing. Schools and companies around the world specializing in Spanish dance (flamenco, bolero school, folklore), classical dance, contemporary dance and Mexican folkloric dance, individual, duet/trio or group may submit proposals in this choreographic international meeting. Ibérica Contemporánea, organizer of the event, also provides scholarships to complement the artistic training of these groups. The meeting will take place on July 9th, 2011 at the Auditorio Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez in the city of Santiago de Querétaro (Mexico). This activity is part of the Querétaro Dance Festival that, between July 9th and 23rd, will become the epicenter of Spanish dance. The program combines a tribute to masters such as Manolo Marín and Cristóbal Reyes, with live performances by artists like María Pagés, María Juncal, Adrián Galia, El Junco, Ángeles Gabaldón and Úrsula Lopez, courses, meetings and other parallel activities.
