Sara
Baras ‘speaks about herself’ at the University.
The Cádiz-born bailaora opens the fourth edition
of the ‘Flamencos Speak about Themselves’ Days organized
by the International University of Andalusia from September 21st
to 25th, 2009 at its headquarters at Isla de la Cartuja in Seville.
She shares the program with Antonio de Canillas, Arcángel,
Manuel Morao and Manuela Carrasco, who will also converse about
their work and their life with an interviewer and the registered
students, just as Diego Carrasco, Eva Yerbabuena, Carmen Linares
and Miguel Poveda, among other of the genre’s artists, did
in prior editions. As complementary activities, there is a lecture
by record producer Gonzalo García-Pelayo and performances
in the Monastery Gardens, like the one scheduled to be offered by
bailaora Rosario Toledo on Thursday the 23rd.
