'Veneno' and ‘La leyenda del tiempo’, voted best albums in the history of Spanish pop by ‘Rockdelux’ magazine.
Kiko Veneno, Rafael Amador and Raimundo Amador, collectively known as Veneno, released an album in 1977 that made history - not only in the realms of modern flamenco but also of Spanish pop. The acclaimed Spanish music magazine Rockdelux positioned ‘Veneno’ as best album in the history of Spanish national pop, just as ‘Efe Eme’ did last year. Camarón's ‘La leyenda del tiempo’ had the same effect, obtaining second place in the list. Other Kiko Veneno recordings also made the chart, such as ‘Échate un cantecito’ and ‘Está mu bien eso del cariño’. Rockdelux published this ranking to celebrate its twentieth anniversary, which it also marked with a party on 23rd November 2004 at La Riviera in Madrid, with performances by Enrique Morente, Kiko Veneno and Raimundo Amador.
