Flamenco-world.com, April 2007

Granada joins forces to boost flamenco. The Province Council of Granada, the public body which unites all the towns in the province, drives forward the first edition of Granada Flamenco. The new festival, with a circuit format, is held from April 13th to May 18th, 2007 with a total of twelve performances in as many towns. Marina Heredia, Mayte Martín, Arcángel and Fuensanta la Moneta are just a few of the artists scheduled. The bill finishes with a closing gala starring Eva Yerbabuena, an artist whose native land wants to pay tribute to her.
