Young Japanese flamenco
artists and great figures of flamenco come together, in
collaboration with the Biennial of Flamenco, to help the
victims of the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan
on March 11th 2011, with a gala to be held on Wednesday
30th March at the Teatro Alameda in Seville. The program
is headed by the singer Esperanza
Fernández, accompanied on guitar by Miguel Ángel
Cortés, and the dancer Adela
Campallo who, with the singer Jeromo Segura and
the guitarists Juan Campallo and David Vargas, “donates”

More collaborations of artists who, like
them, have visited Japan many times to work, teach and make
know flamenco, have been adding to the gala. At the moment,
is confirmed the participation in a grand finale of Javier
Barón, Pedro Sierra, Rafael Campallo, Pastora
Galván, Ana Morales, Carmen Ledesma, José
Galván, Marco Vargas, Enrique el Extremeño,
Segundo Falcón and La Tobala, among others. But equally
important is the participation of young Japanese artists
based in the city of Seville as Eri Fukuhara, Junko Hagiwara,
Kaori Taniguchi, Yuki Tawara, Keiko Ishikawa, Sachiko Nishiuchi
Nanako Aramaki on dancing, Yumi Yamashita Masahiro Yamakawa
on singing, and Eizo Tawara, Kentaro Tokunaga Tokunaga and
Kojiro Kimura and Naoaki on guitar.
Invitations to attend the show may be collected
two hours before the show at the theater. The audience collaboration
will be made in the form of a voluntary donation of 5 euros
that the organization will send to the bank account enabled
by the Embassy of Japan in the Banco Sabadell Atlantic for
Japan Red Cross, whose account number is 0081 0085 66 002
202 029.
