filled half
of the places in its flamenco dancing courses

In under two weeks' time, over
five hundred students have formally registered for the flamenco
dancing courses at Festival de Jerez 2007. Of the 36 courses
offered for all levels, six are already full. The percentage
of occupancy has reached 57 percent of a total of nine hundred
places, with most students coming from the countries of
Japan, Germany and the United States. The festival's training
area is to be held from February 23rd to March 10th, at
the same time as the schedule of performances. Matilde Coral,
Manolo Marín, Isabel Bayón, Javier Barón,
Mercedes Ruiz, Rafaela Carrasco, Ángel Muñoz
and Antonio el Pipa are some of the bailaores making up
the faculty in this edition.
