Festival de Jerez 2012 announces its flamenco dancing course program

Flamenco also has its “back to school”. The Festival de Jerez 2012 announces the program of courses and workshops to be held from February 24th to March 10th, parallel to the performances schedule. The offer includes forty flamenco dance courses in different styles and levels (from beginner to advanced). On the faculty of maestros are leading current figures such as Joaquín Grilo, Antonio el Pipa, Belén Maya, Isabel Bayón, Rafael Campallo, Rocío Molina, Mercedes Ruiz, Angel Muñoz, Andrés Peña and La Moneta, among others, as well as veteran teachers as Angelita Gómez and Juan Parra. In addition, the tuition program welcomes again the requests of the amateur audience with beginners' courses for seniors, under the title '¡Que me quiten lo bailao!', these are teached by dancers Irene Carrasco and María del Mar Moreno. There are also rhythm and clapping workshops for all kind of interested aficionados. Registration for the places -almost one thousand- opens on September 12th, 2011.
