Joaquín Cortés returns before the Spanish audience
with his latest show ‘Calé’

Cortés takes a halt in the world premiere
of ‘Calé’ to re-encounter the Spanish
audience. The Córdoba-born bailaor makes a stop at
the Teatro Nuevo Apolo in Madrid with his latest show from
December 16th, 2009 to January 17th, 2010. The show, which
he had only offered five performances of in this city last
April, is a retrospective of his twenty-year career. And
in it he offers an anthological selection of pieces from
his hit productions ‘Cibayí’, ‘Mi
soledad’, ‘Soul’, ‘Pasión
gitana’, ‘De amor y de odio’ and ‘Live’.
The artist is accompanied on stage by sixteen musicians
and eight dancers, a company with which he has already toured
stages this season in New York, Greece, Mexico and the United
Arab Emirates.
