Esperanza Fernández opens the 2011 Seville's Flamenco Thursdays’ autumn series
Manuel Liñán, Manuel Lombo and Mercedes Ruiz, among other artists, will perform from October 6th to December 22nd

Sevilla looks for Triana’s echoes. Esperanza Fernández opens with her singing from the other riverside the 2011 Seville’s Flamenco Thursdays autumn series. After this openning concert with Miguel Ángel Cortés on guitar, scheduled on October 6th, the series will continue with seven concerts of song, dance and guitar at the Centro Cultural Cajasol. Manuel Lombo defends his career as a cantaor with 'Lombo flamenco' on October 20th, accompanied by Asunción Pérez 'Choni' on dance as guest artist. The Granada-born dancer Manuel Liñán presents 'De baile flamenco' on November 3rd. A week later, Manuel Herrera plays the guitar recital 'Clavijero flamenco'. On November 24th, Javier Barón offers an intimate dance proposal, as Isabel Bayón will do the following Thursday. Hand to hand, the dancer Mercedes Ruiz and the guitarist Santiago Lara perform together on December 15th. The season will conclude on December 22nd with 'Zambomba jerezana' -flamenco Christmas carols- directed by Fernando Moreno with Sabor Jerez.
