José Mercé premieres the new anthological concert ‘Nuevo amanecer’

The singer compiles live the greatest hits of his career and announces new album

José Mercé compiles his greatest hits live. The singer from Jerez launches ‘Nuevo amanecer’ ('New Dawn'), a show that reviews the most successful songs of his discography. The starting point of the tour will be on August 30th at the Auditorio de Colmenar Viejo (Madrid). The repertoire is made of selected tracks from the albums released in the last fifteen years, from ‘Del amanecer’ to 'Ruido', all which has sold a total of 600,000 CD. The concert includes more than twenty songs, including ‘Del amanecer’, ‘Primavera’, ‘Te roza y te quema’, ‘Aire’, ‘Pendiente’, ‘Al alba’, ‘Lío’, ‘La libertad’, ‘Te pintaré’, ‘Pienso’ and ‘Pan y pico’. On stage he is accompanied by the guitarists Diego del Morao and Keko de Jerez, the bassist Manolo Nieto, plus drums, keyboards, trumpet, vocals and clapping. The show is a prelude to a new album of “international range”, which will be released before the end of 2011.
