Pitingo mixes flamenco and Cuban sound
on the album ‘Malecón Street’

After delving into the encounter with soul, Pitingo takes a look at Cuban music with the disc ‘Malecón Street’. The cantaor and singer does versions of popular songs from the music of the Caribbean island such as ‘Guantanamera’, ‘Nosotros’, ‘Son de la loma’ and ‘Contigo en la distancia’, among others. The record will be available on November 29th both on CD and in a deluxe edition including a DVD with a one-hour documentary. The fourth album by the Huelva-born artist premieres live at the Teatro Calderón in Madrid on December 12th, 13th and 14th. It will be the start of an international tour that will take Pitingo to great stages in countries like the United States, Argentina and Venezuela. He will also stop off at the 3rd Catalunya Arte Flamenco with a flamenco recital on December 16th at the Teatre Joventut in L’Hospitalet.
