Following her maternity leave, Sara Baras comes back to stages. And she does so with a great production set in the Bicentennial celebration of the 1812 Constitution. The show is called ‘La Pepa’, which is what the people named the first Spanish constitution which was passed in Cádiz on St. Joseph’s Day. And it will also be on a March 19th, but two hundred years later, when the bailaora premieres the show at the Gran Teatro Falla in Cádiz, where it will be put on for five nights. As the artist explained at the press conference held on Thursday, January 12th at the Casa de Iberoamérica in Cádiz, the show will have a real Cádiz flavor, with “ninety percent of the dance corps consisting of Cádiz-born artists and music by guitarist Keko Baldomero”. After this premiere, the show will go on a tour of stages in Spain, Europe and Latin America. The dates of March 29th and April 1st have already been confirmed for performances at the Palacio de Festivales in Santander.
