The flamenco musical ‘Los Tarantos’
lands in Madrid

One year after its hit premiere in Barcelona, the gypsy version of Romeo and Juliet comes to Madrid's Albéniz Theater from September 13th to October 2nd, 2005. The show, inspired by Rovira Beleta's film starring Carmen Amaya in 1963, has the main roles played by Ana Salazar, Carmelilla Montoya, Juan Carlos Lérida and Candy Román. The show is directed by Emilio Hernández, choreographed by Javier Latorre, orchestrated by Enric Palomar and has an original score by Tomatito and Chicuelo.
