Comentario: Hello everybody,
I would like send you my comment after I bought the Giralda guitar 7 months ago witch I went to collect it myself from the world flamenco store on april 2008, After testting it all this time I can say and recomend you this, this is a beutifull guitar, has a good sound and easy to play...and the good thing is that the price is so reasonable.
I would like to thanks the personal of flamenco world of the good service and advise they provide.

Comentario: I bought my Model jerez in 2003. But I forgot to write my evaluation till now. It is about 4-5 years now I have been playing it and I enjoy its flamenco sound. After so many years the sound has gooten better (i hope my playing has improved too). It also smells very nice I am assuming it is the smell of Spanish cypress. I highly recommend this guitar and even though its price has gone up recently (and rightly so), I think It is right for the price. I even took it to Jerez De La Frontera with me. My guitar teacher there played it and he said this is a good flamenco guitar you don't need to buy another guitar in Jerez.

Comentario: A couple of days ago I received my guitar.
Model Jerez build by Enrique Lorenzo de Geronimo Mateos y Hijos in Madrid.
It is always a risk to buy a guitar via internet but I think that the risks of buying anything of bad quality at flamenco-world is hereby prooved very small.
I love the guitar. It's sound is fantastic. Build very well.If I may give some comments: The wood of the top could be slightly better and also the intonation.
It's not a guitar that is out of tune but at the 12th fret it's a bit lower than the open string. Although I prefer this better than when it is higher on the 12th fret.
So overall the guitar doesn't sound out of tune.
Plays very easy and has enough bass to play any other kind of music aswell. As I am a classical player who also plays South -American and flamenco music I love the sound. It's just the sound I need for my music.

Comentario: It is very rare to find a flamenco blanca guitar that captures the authentic spirit of the music. The Jerez is that guitar. Built in the Torres tradition one can imagine playing this very instrument in Senoir Torres' workshop.
The sound is fierce, biting and full of color. You won't go wrong with this outstanding instrument from Giralda.

Comentario: I have bought other things from Flamenco-World such as CD's and books to assist me with my flamenco playing and some 'proper' castanets which also sound great. It gives me a enormous thrill to buy real authentic products from the capital of Spain and to be sure that they are made by Spanish craftsmen ( and maybe women also !!! ). English luthiers charge a great deal for their guitars but I find very great pleasure in buying from Madrid. The Jerez is not a 'budget guitar' in fact I rarely buy budget products and I am sure my Jerez will be with me for many years providing hours of pleasure for myself and any audiences that hear it. It is difficult to describe the sound of musical instruments but statements such as " I love the sound", "it has a beautiful sound", says it all.

Also it is very reassuring to know that Flamenco-World is a genuine and trustworthy website taking such care with quality of the guitar, packing , delivery times and email replies.

Thank you for your enquiry of May 8, 2003, regarding permission to use my comments pertaining to my feelings about my new Giralda Jerez flamenco guitar I recently received from Flamenco-World.
Yes! Of course! Please feel free to quote me.

I also have owned a Jose Ramirez Flamenco 1A since August 1981 (No.15.525, Concepcion Jeronima) which I had especially ordered earlier that year. The Ramirez is a fine guitar! It is slightly larger than the Giralda (Scale size 656 mm, neck 54mm) and I would classify it as a "flamenco concierto!"
But I must say that I find the Giralda Jerez which I recently received to have a more brilliant, and what I feel to be a more "authentic flamenco," tone. Also, the Giralda is far more responsive to legatos!

Comentario: I have received the Giralda guitar. It was packed very well. After I had it tuned, I could play a few things. A very good flamenco sound!!!! The guitar is also built very well. My flamencoteacher also inspected and tried it and was quit pleased with it. The guitar bag is also built properly and looks very good. It was all in all a very good buy!!!!!
