En este tercer volumen Óscar Herrero, después de la interpretación de una sevillana, desarrolla trabajos para la obtención de una buena técnica en la mano izquierda con ejercicios de extensiones, ligados, cambios de acordes, dedo meñique... En cuanto a la mano derecha se estudian ejercicios para el dedo anular y también indica como hacer arpegios. Se finaliza con una composición en ritmo de bulería llamada 'Vaivén', que está realizada en forma de estudio, donde de una forma amena se dan cabida a prácticamente todas las técnicas vistas en los tres videos: pulgar, picado, arpegios, ligados, extensiones...
Al final del video, los fabricantes de guitarras Conde Hermanos comentan algunas características y cuidados sobre la guitarra flamenca.

Comentario: Well...now what can one say? I received The first 3 volumes of Oscar Herrero's Flamenco Guitar Step By Step DVDs yesterday afternoon and here I am writing a review the very next day! For anyone out there who wishes to improve his or her flamenco guitar skills, DO NOT HESITATE TO PURCHASE THIS SET! You cannot go wrong with the material contained here and in my honest opinion, it is worth every single cent you pay.
I somehow feel the need to write a review here from a guitarists' perspective as I was a bit un-sure whilst placing this order as to whether this series would help me improve my technique. Those doubts have of course been laid to rest forever! So hopefully, this information will help those of you who want to improve their flamenco guitar technique. I must point out that this series is designed for those who have at least the basic fundamental skills of guitar playing.
After going through just the first volume, I could not believe how many flaws there were in my technique. The best thing about these lessons is that Oscar clearly demonstrates what to do and what not to do. For instance, a thumb-downstroke-with-golpe. No book or recording could ever have told me not to rest the middle & ring fingers of the right hand on the soundboard after the stroke. And when Oscar in a matter of a few seconds said that that was an incorrect technique, I really felt like kicking myself in for having played it the wrong way all these years!
The rasgueado segment will definitely keep you busy for years to come. Just when you think you've nailed a certain rasgueo technique, along comes Oscar showing you a number of different technique combinations that make you say..."Hmm...Now where do I begin tackling this one?" Honestly, these 3 Volumes demand a lot of work on your part and you will have to be prepared to spend a lot of time studying these lessons.
I have to say that every single basic technique for flamenco guitar is covered here and the teaching method is in a word....BRILLIANT!
Volume 3 has got to be one of the best exercise videos I have ever seen. I was particularly impressed with Oscar's left hand stretching exercises, which made a world of difference in the way my left hand responded to fretting notes which require stretches...that even after just one try! Amazing! Also...the exercises for playing scales with the middle, ring & little finger of the left hand whilst holding a barre with the index finger (a very common flamenco guitar technique) isn't exactly a walk in the park...and I kid you not...if you have never gotten round to playing something like this before...you will feel like a complete beginner as you work out the fingerings from scratch.
I must congratulate Oscar Herrero for putting out these DVDs. In fact, I am so pleased with the first 3 volumes that I am now going to place an order for the entire set!! Without a shadow of a doubt, this is material that I will keep learning from for a long long time. I mean if after just one viewing of the DVDs, I have written all this...Heaven only knows what kind of a review I'd write after studying this stuff for a year!! Cheers Oscar!
